Vinod Nagpal, Ph.D., President of N&R Engineering, is specialized in probabilistic methods and risk assessment. He has over 35 years of experience in engineering and management and has worked collaboratively with NASA Glenn Research Center and other leading organizations in the aerospace industry for over 30 years.
Robert Boyle, M.S., was employed at NASA Glenn Research Center for over forty years. He has over 30 years of experience in gas turbine propulsion and is also specialized in turbomachinery aerodynamics and heat transfer, making him an invaluable asset to our group.
Jeanie Feagan has almost 30 years of experience working in administrative and organizational duties at NASA Glenn Research Center. Currently working as a Project Technical Support Analyst, Jeanie has developed expertise in the following programs: SAP, Business Warehouse, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, and Outlook. With plenty of experience in government-specific systems, Jeanie is truly an asset to our thriving environment.
John Gayda, Jr., Ph.D., has over 30 years of experience in Material Science Engineering at NASA Glenn Research Center and has been with N&R Engineering since 2009, helping on a variety of projects. John is the true definition of a team player.
Sol Gorland worked for NASA for over 35 years in the area of Power and Propulsion. He retired as Chief of the Combustion Branch. During his time, he served as the Chief of the Launch Vehicle Propulsion Branch in charge of the SSME (Space Shuttle Main Engine) Technology Program for over 10 years. He was a member of numerous NASA and interagency committees, was an AIAA Associate Fellow and after joining the SAE Aircraft Safety and Health Monitoring Committee, instituted the Health Monitoring program at NASA Glenn. Sol now assists N&R Engineering with new business opportunities, helping the company maintain relationships with clients all over the nation.
Ian Miller, M.S. in Applied Mathematics, has worked for NASA for over 8 years conducting probabilistic analysis, thermal/structural finite element analysis, and incorporating anisotropic composite material definitions into structural models. He has experience modeling turbomachinery components and pressure vessels. He has expertise in ANSYS, ABAQUS, Python, Fortran, and C/C++. Ian also has database and data manipulation skills in the following: SQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL server, ACCESS, and MySQL.
Reema Nagpal has been working with the N&R staff on a variety of marketing initiatives to help boost our presence from not only a client standpoint but a hiring standpoint as well. Her contributions to our website, social media, email tools, and overall process improvement have been pivotal in the determination of our success.
Michael Nathal, Ph.D., is a Material Science Engineer and has over 34 years of experience; 33 years with NASA Glenn Research Center and 1 year with N&R Engineering. He is an expert in materials for jet and rocket engines, including alloy development, testing, and processing. He plays an integral role in executing various project tasks as well as developing strategies to make our company efficient and ready for future projects.
Ankur Parikh, M.E., M.S., is a Structural Engineer. Her primary experience is in macro and micro network planning of canal systems and designing of hydraulic structures. Ankur has performed reliability analysis and finite element analysis using ANSYS and FPI. She has also performed system-level probabilistic design analyses using PRODAF software, a tool that was developed by N&R Engineering.
Jonathan Rodriguez-Lucas, B.S., is skilled in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. He has worked as a NASA contractor for over 5 years. He spent two of those years handling ground operations for station experiments. Jonathan also has over 7 years of expertise in structural, thermal and fluid analysis and has utilized NASTRAN, TMG Thermal/Flow and Abaqus, making him an invaluable asset to our group.
George Thomas, M.S., E.E. applied evolutionary algorithms to the optimization of various control systems including automotive variable cam timing control and semi-active prosthetic knee control as a research assistant at Cleveland State University. He is currently involved in dynamic systems analysis and distributed engine control projects at NASA Glenn Research Center.
Kathy Paulitzky has over 30 years of professional experience as an Administrative Assistant/Office Manager and plays a key role at N&R Engineering. Over the years, she has managed a variety of sales, engineering, and marketing teams. Her skillset is in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, Quick Books Pro, Lotus Notes, Purchasing Systems, Sales Tracking Tools, Customer Contracts System, Product Database, and NetMeeting. She is an integral component of our success.
