ABOUT OUR PARTNERSHIP:
EWI and N&R Engineering have most recently collaborated on the NASA funded project titled: “Improved Attachment Design for Ceramic Turbine Blades Via Hybrid Concepts”. In the first phase of the project, N&R used a high-temperature, high vacuum hot press furnace provided by EWI to yield diffusion-bonded articles from turbine blade alloys. After seeing significant success with mechanical and metallurgical analyses from the welded articles, EWI and N&R are now currently working on a hybrid metal-ceramic blade using the same bonding technology. The communication between EWI and N&R has always been fluid, concise, and results-driven. EWI’s process ensures that clients like N&R meet their design and article fabrication goals consistently.
N&R Engineering is proud to work with partners like EWI because it not only ensures that we present our clients with strong solutions, but we are equipped with a staff that can understand each phase of the projects at hand.
