N&R Engineering Management & Services Corporation would like to announce the newest member of our team, George Thomas. As Research Controls Engineer, George will be working on a variety of dynamic systems analysis and distributed engine controls projects at NASA Glenn Research Center.
In order to properly introduce George to our distinguished engineering community, we asked him a couple of questions to help everyone get to know him a little better.
N&R Team: “What are you most excited about in this new role?”
George: “I’m very excited to be working with a distinguished group of professionals at NASA Glenn. The projects I’m on serve as exciting opportunities for me to do some cutting edge research that could very well benefit the world in the future.”
N&R Team: “What project/experience has prepared you most for the role?”
George: “I’m a graduate of Cleveland State University. The thesis I completed at the end of my Master’s program on Automative System Optimization allowed me to get a grasp on the technical subject matter that I will be working on.”
N&R Team: “Who is your hero/inspiration?”
George: “Richard P. Feynman”
N&R Team: “What is one fun fact about yourself?”
George: “I’m currently learning how to play the bass guitar. I enjoy learning how to play different musical instruments.”
